Description
Diisopropylamine (DIPA) may be used in the following syntheses:
- diisopropylamine methyl urea (DMU)[1]
- N,N-diisopropyl quinoline-2-carboxamide[2]
- 3-N-sulfonylamidine coumarins[3]
- N-chloroamine, an intermediate to generate amides[4]
Diisopropylamine (DIPA) is an aliphatic secondary amine widely used as an organic base in organic synthesis. Its standard molar enthalpy of formation and combustion has been measured by static-bomb calorimetry.[5]
