Bis-acrylamide is essential for crosslinking and acrylamide is required for the polymerization of monomers.[2] Acrylamide alkylates SH groups of cysteine and ε-NH2 lysine residues of proteins during electrophoresis.[1] Application Acrylamide has been used in the preparation of polyacrylamide gels.[3][4] Compatibility This substance has been tested against several types of hand protection for CE compliance.
